Intervention Services

The Dave Marlon Method of Intervention

I will meet with the individual who is in need of substance use treatment and mental health treatment. The person knows we are meeting beforehand, so there’s less shame. In this assessment, I will look at the mental, emotional, and physical state that the person is in, and make a recommendation for treatment based on all factors. The person will feel safer in this setting, and be more likely to listen to the opinion of a professional who is evaluating multiple factors. I meet with the family system to ensure we are all working towards getting the individual in need into treatment, not blaming, shaming or getting into a he said, she said. An intervention is an act of love and concern.

As someone in recovery for 21 years, I have helped over 10,000 people get into recovery; this is how I would like to be intervened on. Honesty is key, and you don’t start a journey of recovery and truth with a trick or a lie. In the Dave Marlon Method, there are no secret sessions, no show down at the home, just me, the interventionist, the loved one, and the person needing treatment.

Cost: $7,500 for an intervention, including family education and a concerted effort to get the client into treatment.
